To be invited as a member of the press is the most amazing feeling of all. To be invited to cover the event, to tell the story, to preserve the memories, to evoke the feelings of community and togetherness, to encapsulate this wonderful experience and to put into words what so many others have said they cannot. To say this is the best food and wine festival I have attended is an understatement. The Family Reunion is a trailblazing event that raised the bar, reconceptualized and redefined the concept of a food and wine festival.

For my main dish, I ordered the Seafood Sandwich. This sandwich is packed with everything! The base is blackened salmon, fire roasted shrimp, and lastly lobster. This is topped with a tropical salsa on coco bread. It is served with seasoned fries.
Sugar in Spring
My favorite is the Cookie Dough Biscoff Brownie. Every layer, every bite makes me want to take another bite. The bottom layer is the ooey gooey brownie. The middle layer is the chocolate chip cookie dough. On top of that is a biscoff cookie layer, topped with a layer of fudge. It is garnished with a drizzle of caramel and topped with a Biscoff cookie and Biscoff cookie crumbles. I could eat this every day.
