More Than Java Cafe

I was searching for a new coffee shop.  More Than Java Cafe is it!  Upon entering, I was greeted by Cafe owners.  I immediately felt welcomed and felt like a part of the More Than Java family.  The cafe itself is a dream for Creatives like me.  There’s a stage area and seating areas.  There’s green walls and art everywhere.   I look forward to the post-COVID era so that I can visit More Than Java Cafe for their events and to have coffee and dessert.

I ordered the Island Paradise smoothie.  It includes strawberry, banana, pineapple, and mango.  (I modified my smoothie and replaced the banana with raspberry.)  I was pleased to learn that the smoothies are sweetened with Agave nectar.  All smoothies are made to order.  Of course the smoothie is delicious.  If you need daily smoothies, add More Than Java to your routine.

Now for something sweet.  I ordered the Vegan Chocolate Cake.  It is vegan, soy-free.  The cake slices are quite large.  I did not finish my cake at once.  There was enough for me to eat the next day.  The cake was dense, yet moist and flavorful.  The frosting was right on time to add that extra chocolate sweetness and creaminess to the cake.

Since Nana was in the shop, I had to try Nana’s homemade/ cafe made Peach Cobbler.  Let me tell you.  It reminded me of church revivals from my childhood.  The peaches, the crust, has everything I wanted.  Yes, it is sweet!  No need for me to make a peach cobbler.  More Than Java has that covered.

Most desserts are made daily.  Go visit to see the desserts of the day.  I’m so glad to find this local gem.  I’ll be back.
