High-end comfort is the best way to describe Victoria Gastro Pub. It is one of the few places in Columbia, Maryland where you can get a variety of Beer, Wine, and a nice Sunday brunch. The atmosphere is warm, yet bright, comfy, yet sophisticated.
On my visit during lunch, I decided to try the Lobster Grilled Cheese. It is made with Maine Lobster & Brie Fondue. The bread is buttered and toasted to perfection. To accompany this sandwich, I indulged on Duck Fat Fries topped with Truffle Sea Salt. I am not ashamed to say that I ate the whole thing, including ALL of the Duck Fat Fries. It was delicious. The Brie Fondue was smokey, cheesy, and creamy. The lobster was fresh and diced into large chunks. Each bite of the sandwich was filled with chunks of lobster and lots of cheese.
To accompany my meal, I had a Peach Bellini. The bellini was made with actual peach puree. Overall, I thoroughly enjoyed my meal. I look forward to my next meal at Victoria Gastro Pub.
